High school entrepreneurs launch into business

Last year, Tyner Academy students Colby McCurty and Deosha King won LAUNCH’s High School Entrepreneurship Competition; this year, their product is serving their fellow high school students while the duo is looking toward their next business move. Their first product, called Get Box, is a vending machine that dispenses school supplies.

Tyner Academy students Colby McCurty and Deosha King created a product called Get Box, which is now serving local high school students.

"Our plan is to make many, many more vending machines in the future," King said. "We would prefer the next one to be at UTC."
