Over the Summer, LAUNCH distributed 5 micro-grants in 5 weeks to 5 entrepreneurs! 

 

Felicia Jackson -- the owner, inventor, and CEO of CPR Wrap: The LAUNCH Summer Grant has given her the ability to solidify her plans for Operation School Safety Initiative. This is CPR Wrap's effort to provide CPR Wrap kits to every school & every classroom in Hamilton County. Check out this video for more!  

Jennifer and Shawanda -- founders of The Chattery:

This LAUNCH Summer Grant winner is using their funds to better our community! The Chattery is a Chattanooga based nonprofit learning collective. They focus on fun, affordable, and accessible adult learning experiences. They have done a phenomenal job shifting their classes online amidst the pandemic. Learn more about how The Chattery has adapted to 2020 here.

JaMichael Jordan -- owner and principal photographer of JTookEm Photography:

As a recipient of a LAUNCH Summer Grant Winner, JaMichael is able to elevate his photography with high-end equipment. He is capturing unity in this divisive time. His photography business highlights how we are all in this together. Ella Livingston -- founder of Cocoa Asante:

Ella Livingston is back in action with her delicious ethically sourced chocolates! The LAUNCH Summer grant assisted Ella in restoring and in some sense re-launching her business. Hear from Ella (and her beautiful new baby) here!

Derelle Roshell -- Owner and operator of G Force Security 

Our final LAUNCH Summer Grant winner was Derelle Roshell, owner and operator of G Force Security. Derelle used his micro-grant to train four new officers in armed security. Learn more about Derelle's journey with G Force Security starting in 2014 with the Chattanooga branch to the present with the Nashville branch!
